Speed Bumps – What They Are And How They Are Used

Speed bumps have a very important purpose on our roads. In fact all roads across the world have speed bumps or speed ramps installed to ensure a safer road use experience.

Speed bumps are designed, manufactured and installed with the main purpose of slowing down potentially speeding drivers, reminding motorists of the imposed speed limits and ensuring that pedestrians are not injured outside busy places. They are generally supplied in pairs of black and yellow and have black ramp end caps to finish them off. These end caps are also available in yellow.
