The Importance of Road Reflectors

Road reflectors are visible at night due to their colour and high reflective properties. They play an integral part in road safety, making drivers aware of the road conditions ahead. They can be used to indicate a sudden and sharp turn in the road or reflective signs can give an indication of road conditions and speed limits ahead. Road reflectors do in fact ensure that we are all able to drive safely and securely at all times of the day.

Road reflectors in the form of cat’s eyes are usually found in the middle of the road, along road markings in order to highlight these markings at night. They also give an advanced indication of a bend in the road ahead. This makes the driving experience for those who do not know the road or who are not familiar with the area, a whole lot safer. These reflectors are part of the driving experience we take for granted, as they provide assistance and guidance both night and day.
