The most common road safety products seen at road works sites are delineators and barriers.  Delineators are often of the blade-type and are black and yellow for high contrast and easy visibility.  They have arrows on them that indicate on which side a motorist should pass the delineator and they are highly reflective at night.  They are often placed in long rows to delineate temporary lanes in which motorists must travel to safely and orderly negotiate their way around road works.

Where additional safety is required, temporary barriers are used.  These may be plastic, water-filled barriers that interlock to form a long chain.  However, we also supply a temporary alternative to the well known permanent guardrail barrier.  The Barrierguard 800 is a temporary steel safety barrier that offers additional strength and impact resistance.  It can be used at road works or in any other containment application.  It complies with European Performance Standard BS EN 1317, parts one and two.
