Armco RSP supplies top quality speed bumps

There are many road products that regulate, channel and calm traffic.  Armco RSP’s popular speed bumps are one such traffic calming product that is used in locations where traffic should be slowed to walking pace.  Our speed bumps are often used in parking lots to prevent people from speeding.

We manufacture the speed ramps out of almost indestructible recycled thermoplastic.  Each segment is bolted to the road surface with four expansion bolts and the ramp sections are usually installed alternating in colour between black and yellow to form a highly visible, contrasting obstacle that can be spotted from afar.  End caps are rounded and installed either side of the speed bump to give a smoothly tapering end that is not damaging to car tyres.  The end caps are secured via two expansion bolts.

We offer two versions of the black and yellow speed ramps.  The first is 50mm high.  Each segment is 500mm long, 420mm wide and weighs 9.1kg.  The end caps are 320mm long and weigh 2.2kg each.  The other type is 50% higher at 75mm.  The segments are correspondingly larger and although they are still 500mm long, they are 470mm wide and weigh 15.2kg each.  The end caps are 320mm long with a relatively steep taper and they weigh 4.3kg each.  These speed ramps are be fitted almost anywhere and their modular construction and manageable size make them an easy at any location.  All our speed ramps are fitted with two white cat’s eyes on either side for high reflectivity at night.
