Road Safety Signs

One of our best known road signs is our blade delineator.  These are a familiar sight on South African roads, especially now with all the road works taking place in so many locations.  The impact-resistant blade delineators are black and yellow and offer sharp contrast and brilliant reflective properties.  These delineators are temporary and are erected where the driving lanes should be delineated to channel traffic and keep them out of zone where road workers work.  Different sizes are available, and they may be more than a metre high.  Our guardrails are also fitted with clearly visible reflectors at regular intervals, especially where they are installed on turns in the road.

Armco road signs are available that indicate any type of danger, from a pedestrian crossing to a possible rock slide.  Our road signs are used everywhere; one can hardly imagine a road with no signage at all.  Road signs indicate posted speed limits, warn of curves in the road and give directions.  Armco road signs conform to international standards for clarity and quality.
