Road accidents are a horrible reality in South Africa, and across the world. These accidents ruin the lives of thousands of families in a single moment. That is why Armco RSP has been dedicated to designing and manufacturing quality road safety products for the nation, to ensure that when drivers are caught in road accidents, our national roads won’t penalize them with their lives.

According to the Road Traffic Report, March 2008: “The total number of vehicles that are either un-roadworthy, unlicensed or both increased by 142,194 (18,23%) from 780,006 vehicles at the end of March 2007 to 922,200 vehicles at the end of March 2008.” This is a considerable statistic, and makes the need for superior road safety products so much more crucial to prevent devastating road accidents.

Furthermore the Road Traffic Report, March 2008 states the following about SA’s road accidents: “Over the 12-month period from 1 April 2007 to 31 March 2008 the number of fatal crashes decreased by 1,000 (7,95%) from 12,577 crashes over the same period the previous year to 11,577.” As well as, “Over the 12-month period from 1 April 2007 to 31 March 2008 the number of fatalities decreased by 887 (5,72%) from 15,515 fatalities over the same period the previous year to 14,627.”
