It has been extensively tested and approved to European performance standards of BE EN 1317 parts 1 and 2. They have a deflection of 1.0 meters at 110 km/h for a 1500kg vehicle impact at 20 degrees. The Armco RSP Barrier Guard is 12 meters in length and has a base width of 540mm’s and top width of 235mm’s. Its height reaches 800mm and each 12m section weighs in at 1140kg’s.

These barriers have a unique quick mount linking system which ensures quick and easy installation. It requires anchoring merely at the end of each run and it can be anchored along its length for greater rigidity or permanent applications. Its capabilities of rapid deployment and removal with a three man team boosts productivity at up to 400 meters per day. These barriers offer minimized risk to motorcyclists with no posts to negate pocketing due to smooth profile for controlled redirection. The following is made available with this product:

1. Radius connections – able to achieve a minimum of 40 meter radius
2. Emergency access points – 6 meter to over 60 meter length options.
3. EN1317 compliant 110 km/h crash cushions end treatments – these offer an alternative to a potentially dangerous ramped end.
